These systems have many attractive features compared to traditional electricity production plants, because they produce electricity directly to the place of use, do not emit pollutants, are reliable, are easily expandable and require low maintenance costs. Photovoltaic systems require however of specific products and solutions for their protection and for their use, in particular because they present a part which operates in current DC, before the inverter, and one that operates in alternating current AC from the inverter to the grid.

In particular, our offer includes:
- Fuses expressly made for the protection of the strings of photovoltaic systems, with gPV time-current characteristic, both in cylindrical format 10×38 mm and knife NH type, can operate up to 1100V DC voltages and currents from 1A to 500A . There are also available unipolar and bipolar fuseholers (not to be opened under load), also equipped with a signaling device of the fuse blown.
- Surge arresters Class I and Class II with varistor and/or gas discharge tube, for the protection of photovoltaic systems from electric shock caused by lightning strikes, with voltages up to 1000V DC. Also for the side in alternating current are available several models of surge arresters, both class I and class II. All models are available with contact for remote indication of the need to replace the varistor element.
- A full range ofswitch disconnectors(category DC-21B) foruse indirect current, available in many different sizes, withrated currents up to630A andvoltages up to1000VDC. In support there aremany accessories, including interlock handle and protective cover.
- A protection relay certified according to CEI 0-21 (Low Voltage) for interfacing the PV plant to the electricity grid
