In the modern industry is now essential to have a complete system of equipment, preferably modular type, able to provide solution to any problem concerning the protection, the control and automation of industrial processes. This type of requirement is able to answer only a wide and varied range of products, consisting of circuit breakers, residual current circuit breakers or miniature breakers, surge protection devices, modular contactors, and other complementary products, including accessories.
Applications of these devices are so many, but it is always useful (if not necessary) to check the real quality of these items. Is therefore important to check the laws under which the devices have been made and it is important check the presence of product approval issued by independent bodies (IMQ, VDE, KEMA, UL, etc.). To find a supplier who can offer a complete range of products, most of all with certificates issued by laboratories in Europe, is undoubtedly a guarantee of quality and reliability.
Particularly, the circuit breakers are made in compliance with CEI EN 60898 and IEC 60947-2 (circuit breakers for household and similar purposes and for industrial uses), normally reach rated current of 125A, to rated voltage of 230 / 400V AC, and with time operating threshold of type B, C and D, the breaking capacity reaches up 15kA.
The residual current circuit breakers are distinguished instead by “pure” (EN 61008-1) and “breakers” (EN 61009-1). The latter version, which includes the magneto-thermal protection combined with the differential protection, can be obtained also by combining the miniature circuit breakers and the so-called “add-on blocks”. The residual current circuit breakers are available in Class AC (sensitive only to sinusoidal currents), A (also sensitive to the rectified current) and B (also sensitive to current continuous).
The variety of accessories (auxiliary contacts, shunt trip releases, undervoltage releases, etc.) and other kind of products, such as surge arresters, switch-disconnectors, memory and latching relay, modular contactors, etc. allows users to design and to realize complete solutions, modern and integrated.
