The range is composed of numerous types of products, from the classic magnetothermal switches with curves B, C, D, K, Z and with breaking capacity of 6kA and 10kA, to pure differential switches, in classes AC, A, B, to differential magnetothermal switches in a single block. Among the various products offered we highlight in particular:
- 1P+N differential magnetothermal switches in 1 single DIN module (KZS-1M series). These products are electronic and are functionally dependent on the mains voltage. They are therefore ideal for protecting systems where additional high-sensitivity protections are required and must always be used downstream of classic differential switches. The differential protection is type A, and the differential sensitivities range from 10mA to 100mA.
- 2P differential magnetothermal switches with type B differential protection (KZS-4M-B series). This product is highly innovative and, in a single product, guarantees complete protection, both magnetothermal and differential, for all those applications where type B differential protection is required or is in any case highly recommended (charging stations for electric cars, electromedical applications, AC side of photovoltaic systems, etc.).
- 2P differential magnetothermal switches with integrated protection against electric arcs (AFDD series). In some cases, traditional differential magnetothermal switches are not able to offer adequate protection against faults caused by electric arcs (in particular in the case of a series arc fault). However, this type of fault is frequent in industrial electrical systems, and very often results in a fire. The AFDD series switches are designed specifically to detect and switch off arcs caused by faults in electrical circuits, and therefore perform a fundamental fire-prevention action, to protect people and property. Their use is particularly suitable in all places with a high risk of fire (wooden buildings, carpentry shops, fuel depots) or in places such as museums and libraries. The product is complete and innovative because it combines magnetothermal protection, differential protection and protection against electric arcs. The intervention caused by an electric arc is signalled by a special LED.
